Cat Scan

Nathan went in for his cat scan today. This scan was to determine how much the tumor has shrunk. The hope was that after this we would be able to schedule the surgery to have the tumor removed. After the scan we met with his oncologist and she gave us some very encouraging news. His tumor is roughly 50% of it’s previous size! His AFP marker has dropped to 380, which so far has been a factor of 10 reduction each time they measure it.

She sent the scans off to KU-Med for the surgeon there to evaluate, as it’s his call for whether or not to operate.
