Today is the last cycle of chemo before Nathan has his surgery. If things progress well we should be looking at the middle of July for the surgery to remove his tumor. As always the chemo has been doing it’s job very well and Nathan has been responding extremely well. His protein marker for the cancer has dropped another factor of 10, it’s currently at 38. If he keeps this up the marker will be down in the single digits by surgery time!

This cycle of chemo will be in the middle of the week, Nathan was a little neutropenic last week so that pushed us back a little. He was also a little dehydrated so the chemo started very late. But as always we made the best of it, aunt Lavonne and uncle Rick came to visit. Aunt Lavonne is single-handedly keep my son in Lego’s! We’re not entirely sure who enjoys them more, but it’s certainly fun to watch!

Mom and dad are in Florida now, so we got to visit with mom over Skype. Nathan really enjoys getting to talk with grandma, I think it’s because she act’s so silly. And then aunt Amy visited with his cousins.
