We met with Nathan’s oncologist today, mostly to set our mind at ease. It’s been a few days since visiting KU Med, and we’re still rather worried about the whole thing. She showed us where in Nathan’s liver that his tumor is, and potentially what part of Nathan’s liver could be removed. She let us know that while anything could happen in surgery, that doesn’t mean that it will.

While it’s still scary, I think Malia and I both feel a little better about Tuesday.

The one visit to the Cancer Center that wasn’t an ouchie visit, and Nathan slept through the whole thing!
